For schools (like the big 3) that have generous transfer policies, but cap the number of hours that may be transferred toward a degree, am I correct in assuming that "extra" hours may be transferred in, but simply can't be counted against the degree requirements?
For instance, my school says that a maximum of 90 hours may be transferred against bachelors degree requirements. If I have, say, 112 transferable hours, are they likely to transfer them all in, and just require that I complete at least 30 more hours through them?
