My son's microbiology and environmental science courses from SL both came in as science.
What did NOT come in as science was Nutrition.

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of. I'm also worried because I took Engl. 101 and the College Composition CLEP. I think those duplicate because of what Pierpont transfers the CLEP as, because it's only good for 3 credits. But I have like a million hours of upper-level English courses, so I'm hoping they'll let that slide.
I just finished my Intro. to Computing with study.com, and I have like 5 days and one test left on my college accelerator plan. I'm going to be pissed if they give me static about either of those courses. I think I'm going to knock out Comm. 120 real quick, just in case. I was saving that test in case they didn't like my proctor video or something for the computer test, but I'm not going to find out about that in time anyway.

If you took ENG101, you'd want that instead of the CLEP because it gives you residency credit toward your campus requirement (CLEP doesn't) but yes, they would duplicate if CLEP College Comp is only worth 3.

I did talk to the accreditation agency today. This college does not have to provide a transcript if you did not take a course there. It also shouldn't be an Issue I am told. You receive the degree and then use the other institution's transcripts to verify your credits.
Could there be issues with this?
WGU BSCSIA (In progress starting Feb 1st 2019) 49/122 credit hours.
PierPont BOG A.A.S 2018 CompTIA A+,Sec+. SL. Intro to Environmental Science, Intro to Biology. 6 Credit hours. Brick and Mortar college's 50 RA credits. Pierpont institutional credit INFO 2207, INFO 2256, INFO 2305. 9 Credit hours.
Sophia. Developing Effective Teams, The Essentials of Managing Conflict. 2 Credit hours The Institutes. 312N-H Ethics, 2 credit hours.
Brick and Mortar College. Eng 205 research writing, 3 credit hours.
CLEP. Information Systems, 3 Credit hours.
Stanford Online. America's Poverty and Inequality Course, Statement of accomplishment.
I mean, it's an issue for most people on this board that have credit from umpteen different sources all over God's green Earth.
Also, how would you know I was telling the truth about what the school accepted for awarding you that degree? I'm not sure what the scam would be, but it seems like that is leaving an opening for abuse of whatever sort.
They may not HAVE to give a transcript, but it would sure be better for them if they did. To prove to employers and other schools that they required academic rigor and did not just hand you a degree.

I guess we'll find out soon. Nancy emailed "the letter" to WGU (and myself) today. Waiting to hear back from WGU on it.

Do you have a copy of what she sent? I'm very curious to see what it says, if you're willing to share.

It's a nice letter and I hope it works for you, but is she going to do that for all of us anytime we need to apply somewhere? She's going to run herself ragged and resent running that program if she isn't careful. Seems like a ridiculous amount of work when there is an easy fix available.
