Update: I am still waiting without any progress at Pierpont. Although David sent me an email earlier this month, he hasn’t responded to any emails. I was instructed to submit another application for graduation and pay the $350 fee, which I’ve already done. Is there an alternative point of contact for Pierpont? At this point, I may just want a refund of my $350 and move on from Pierpont.

I’m seeking advice and opinions in planning my path to a BOG degree as quickly as I can. I listed my degree plan below based on courses that don't require touchstones but I came up short needing US History 1 & 2 both with touchstones. My goal is to achieve an associate degree by May of 2024. The associate degree AOE doesn't need to be in a specific area of interest or leading me to a bachelor's degree at this time. Earning an associate degree at this point in my life is the goal. Any advice in planning my path is much appreciated! For computer literacy, I’m not sure if they still do accept Intro to IT from Sophia. They didn’t use mine for it.

Update: Received my Pierpont degree today! I'm in a dilemma. I own an adventure guide service where clients buy my time, mostly for 3 to 8 day trips. Recently, I've been booked every day for the last two months. I was looking at attending WGU, UMPI, or ETAMU for a bachelor's degree, but taking Sophia courses exposed some time limitations and constraints that don't work with UMPI or ETAMU term formats due to my work schedule.
I could possibly fit WGU's 6 month term, but I feel I might waste half a term or more due to my business obligations. Does anyone know of a school where you pay upfront for courses or a degree program and can work at your leisure without a term ending? I recently found Penn Foster and Ashworth, where you pay for a year and can take up to a year to complete 5 courses for a set price, but I'm not sure I want a NA degree.

The closest used in the forum that I know are the courses from Arizona State U where you have an entire year to finish a course and can advance whenever you have free time.

UofPeople may work for you, they just received RA and each class has a certain number of weeks to have completed. You can take 2 classes at a time and slowly get this done for a Business, Computer Science, Health Science degree. You can then come back to UofPeople for a Masters afterwards, they have 3 graduate degrees to select from.
