How long before receiving a score for English Comp with Essay?

Anyone know how long it takes before the essays are scored or how the score is delivered? (Mail, email, etc..)

I took this years ago but if I remember correctly you get the essay scores mailed to your school within a week or so.

Completely, 100% up to the school thats grading it. CLEP/DSST doesn't grade them, they go to the school for grading. Might be a few days, might be a month or more...call the schools testing center and ask the question.

Where are you transferring it to? I don't think the Big 3 require any essay portion...I'm not 100% sure though.

I thing that this answers your question. I took it last Saturday and I'm anxious to learn how I did. Actually, I'm not. Just call me Cleopatra - the Queen of Denial - because I really don't want to learn how I did.

That is because you're taking College Composition Modular, which doesn't have the essay portion.

It isn't called English Composition, it is called College Composition. English Composition is no longer offered.

I took it in December and received my score report by mail in January, about 4 weeks later.

Essays are sent off to be read and scored twice a month, so it really depends if you tested before one of the reading sessions. If you just missed it, your essay will sit and wait for a few weeks before the next session comes along. Then your score has to be entered into the computer so that it can somehow calculate a total score with your multiple-choice section. All in all, it could take 4-6 weeks.

I think mine took 5 weeks. It depends on the grading cycle, but like BGSU_Alum_86 said, 4-6 weeks is what you're looking at.

I am helping someone with their degree and they need English Comp I. Now can they take College Composition Modular without the essay and have that count for English Comp I? This is for TESC. So I am wondering does TESC take College Composition Modular without the essay to fulfill an English credit?
