Test score
#1
Hello,

I wonder if I need to get a score of 50 on the test and there are 80 questions; that means that I would need to get 40 or more right to pass. not 50 or more right?

Hope that someone can answer me!

@rogeryoung, Without the info in post #2, I would have never guessed it was for a CLEP exam and would have asked you... What you're referring to. You need to provide a bit more info in your question as that could have been for a DSST or a TECEP, or a specific college challenge exam. If it's for a specific CLEP, they have specifics on the transfer guide to each college or institution, most likely there are differences in transfer requirements, so hitting the 50 is minimum score.

Assuming this is a CLEP question, if you score 70% on the official CLEP practice exam or Peterson CLEP practice exams, then you should easily pass the actual CLEP exam.

People who use InstantCert have a pass rate of 90% or higher, so it's highly recommended.
