ENEB Master Thread
The only defensible claim is that Universidad Isabel I is an accredited university in Spain. They offer accredited (official) and non-accredited (non-official) degrees, which is in accordance with local laws in Spain. Universidad Isabel I - ENEB partnership degrees fall in the latter category.

As for the claim of equivalency to a US graduate degree, the evaluations metioned on this specific forum have not established that equivalency so far. We've had Bachelor's and hypothetical Graduate Certificate equivalency claims and documentation.

More distortion and evasion. No one is arguing Isabel accreditation. So easy- There are a few people here whose postings are trustworthy and have completed the eneb master.  One of the reputable those members should ask Isabel to send the eneb’s master done to be evaluated. I already know the answer. Isabel will not do it and will refer you back to Eneb, because the program does not belongs to Isabel. Anyone here of objective mind can go contact Isabel. I have zero negative to say about eneb, I am just adding my voice to the deliberate distortion happening here. Please don’t take my word for it, because what I writing is easily verifiable. I paid for the information, expensive, but you can also do the same. I have eneb on my resume but I have no other ties than to honestly provide the information I have.

Why do you immediately assume that you're dealing with evasion and distortion on the part of the university or members of this forum such as myself? You seem to have a conspiratiorial mindset. Off the top of my head, I could think of many possible explanations as to why you would be referred to ENEB. They are in charge of the whole training program and Universidad Isabel I only certifies it, thus adding legitimacy that ENEB does not have on its own. This results in a proper university-issued propio degree. The university only adds its stamp of approval here. This may explain why you would be told to refer back to ENEB with transcripts. The program does not BELONG to Isabel I? Really? So, why are you able to check your degree's authenticity on Universidad Isabel I's official website? Have you tried it? I have and it actually works. Why does the university rector sign each degree? Why is the Universidad Isabel I diploma even issued?

this is going around in circles.

You do have an evasive explanations for everything eneb. Well I don’t.  You notice I am always factual. Fact. Eneb is non-accredited
Fact. Eneb master is nonaacredted master.
Fact. Isabel will never send an eneb master with it approval as you say to be evaluated.
Fact. I have an eneb master.
Fact. I got it evaluated
Fact. I spoke with Isabel because that would have been the ideal
Anyone here can do the same and repeat, verify for yourself or call me false. Basic research criteria -There is no circular argument here from me. I am not selling anything I am trying to avoid overselling the value of my eneb master.

This really is a lot of confusion.....    It's a good program for the price.  It's the variation of evaluator results, those who have observed the dialogue with their own opinions, and differing student perspectives of ENEB that drive many of us crazy because this operates in such a gray area.   This is why many foreign evaluators won't evaluate this type of program. It's best to stay away from this for those who want a fully recognized school but still can be good for professional and personal development to fill in skill gaps. It's only made for professional purposes anyway and is not an academic Masters.

What are the underlying motives?  EBEB is unaccredited - the arrangements with  Isabel do not make the master regional accredited. Those two statements are facts, and I can prove them from my experience doing the ENEB/Isabel thing. Yes, do evaluation shopping, and you may find something that will confirm your hype but to what ends. I used my ENEB/Isabel's master and I worked for it but this board is misleading.

You keep saying this over and over and over again, but I don't see anyone arguing against this point.

I do want to point out, in the name of pedantry, that a degree from Oxford isn't regionally accredited either, despite being extremely prestigious, and that degrees from the University of Phoenix are regionally accredited despite being a laughing stock. Having a foreign credit evaluation also doesn't make any degree regionally accredited, because they are not accredited by regional accreditation agencies.

These things only speak to equivalency, so saying "ENEB isn't regionally accredited" is pretty obvious, especially since not even the more prestigious universities teaching Oficial degrees, like the Autonomous University of Barcelona, are actually "regionally accredited" under any circumstances I am aware of. Again, this is meant in the spirit of pedantry, not to argue that ENEB is equivalent to Oxford, but just to make a useless argument that is technically true but serves absolutely no purpose.

On a more serious note, the facts, as we have them, are...
1. ENEB is not accredited
2. Isabel is accredited and recognized by Spain as a university
3. These arrangements are legitimate and common in Spain
4. This is a legal award in Spain
5. The degree has not yet been accepted as RA-equivalent Master's by a North American FCE provider
6. The degree has been accepted as an RA-equivalent Bachelor's by at least one USA-based FCE provider
7. One of the degrees has been accepted as a Master's-equivalent qualification by NARIC-Belgium, the rest as Advanced Bachelors (the sister forum has details)
8. These degrees have been used for admissions into USA RA-institutions (again, sister forum has details)

I don't see any hype in those 7, nor any bias. Them's the facts, plain and simple. Based on those facts, all of which I knew when I signed up for the program, I think it was a good decision for me and is something I would recommend for people with similar needs to my own. I have also steered people I know personally away from the program when they would not have benefitted from it.

Now, if you'll excuse me, from the moment I said "them's the facts," I've felt the urge to chew some tobacco, use the spittoon, and shoot some cartoon bottles with XXX written on the front with my sixgun...

Including myself, good luck with your Eneb master. It is good to see that there was a bit more balance and less hype in the last three or so posts. Readers are in a better position to make decisions. I will also recommend eneb but it will come with caveats because in my case my evaluation returned as non accredited institution and non accredited master degree.
