ENEB New Master Thread
Hi everyone. I purchased my ENEB program recently and they sent me instructions to get into my account. I got a message on the screen that this is my last chance to upgrade to the Agile Methodology. I want to do agile but they are currently offering it at £249. Is this really my last chance? Or can I hold out for a better price? I think they have deals for this on days like black Friday? Thank you

Seems like one of the recent ENEB sales newsletters announced the end (?!) of the Agile Methodology as we know it starting from February. Apparently now it's gonna be written answers to questions, which seems still faster than doing the papers, however also a bit more like a "real" exam.
Sounds good tbh!

Thanks so much! This is great.

Well, I finally took my exams for Master in Revenue Management and Hospitality & Master in Financial Markets and Asset Management + Master in AI for Business.

They have vastly improved the exams since I last took them (which was Master in Hotel Management and Tourism, MBA - Master of Business Administration, Master in Project Management). Last time there was garbled text because the encoding was wrong, there were questions that made no sense whatsoever (some kind of translation error), and there were questions which didn't make any sense unless you went back into that one PDF page and read the whole section to figure out what the heck they were referencing. There were also questions which didn't really seem relevant to the topic although they tested on some parts of the PDFs.

This time, all the test questions made sense, there were no garbled text issues, and the whole test just felt easier and more geared towards actual basic knowledge of the subject.

I have also moved locations in the USA and the usefulness of my ENEB diplomas has increased. I now live in an area that's actually less rural than the town I was in before, but the average level of education required in jobs in my new town is lower - most jobs in the new place only require high school graduation, and many don't even require that. Having literally any credential whatsoever is a big boost here. I have already seen several jobs that accept ANY kind of education in accounting, business, management, etc. in lieu of work experience, for jobs at places like banks and courthouses. I'm going to go back and check out all the job ads and then pick one ENEB to get an official evaluation of. After I decide which one, I'm going to use some digital libraries to read full books on all the subjects in the degree, watch videos and stuff to make myself seem more knowledgable.

If not, would any other school allow you to take a Masters program in such field?   Thanks a bunch, Mike

ECE evaluates these as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree but only gives S grades for all passing courses.   This might meet qualifications in terms of the degree equivalency itself but your sister needs to make sure she has all the required courses for certification completed, subject exams passed, and any required continuing education units needed in her state completed.  She will likely be required to complete an alternative licensure program since the Bachelor's degree equivalency will not have a teacher preparation component which can be completed in a MEd program although an alternative licensure program without a graduate degree will work.   Note:  Some states do require a Masters to teach.

As far as rather or not Western Governors accept ENEB's ECE equivalency to a Bachelors,  they should but are not required to do so. She would need to contact Western Governors university and ask.  This goes with any other Masters program or school she decides to enter.

This is not true at all.

Western Governors University has a Masters in Elementary Education for Licensure, which does not require ANY previous courses in education, and they also do NOT require any general education credits. Source - I enrolled with a European Bachelor's (no general ed credits and no Education credits) into their Masters.

WGU also accepts NACES evaluations. Source - I had to use one for them to accept my European Bachelor's.

Additionally, most states that offer "emergency teaching licenses" and emergency substitute teacher licenses offer them to anyone of any Bachelor's degree regardless of what subject your BA was in, and regardless of if it had any Education courses or not. A foreign one just has to be NACES evaluated, so ENEB would pass. Most teachers I talk to got their first jobs on an emergency license and then enrolled in a teacher preparation program (aka WGU or something similar) after already having a job as a teacher in a classroom.

Finally, you can also do i-Teach which again accepts NACES members. It doesn't get you a degree but it does get you a state teaching license and gets you into a paid position during your teacher training (student teaching) so, unlike when doing WGU, you don't have to pay for tuition AND go unemployed for 4 months while doing unpaid student teaching.

It is state dependent.   She would need to check her specific state she wishes to teach.  Many are a lot more flexible than others.  I was speaking from what I know here in Arkansas which tends to require closer to traditional routes.

Almost all states and Canadian provinces honor license reciprocity, and it is usually only 1-2 extra courses if any to get your license to transfer (such as California requiring a California History course, or British Columbia requiring a Canadian History course).

I can get a license from Hawaii and transfer it to Washington state, Arkansas, British Columbia, et cetera very easily.

There are a couple states which are harder, but there are usually workarounds, such as working in a different state first and getting 3-5 years of teaching experience there before moving back to your home state.

And if the poster's sister just wants a Bachelor's to get into a teacher licensing program like a WGU Masters of Education, WGU can get you a license in any state as far as I'm aware, and ENEB will get you into WGU without any issues. It's non-university services like i-Teach which are more limited in what states they can get you your initial license in, but again, most state licenses transfer to other states without any major issues.

Pretty much what you would put in the resume if you got your Bachelors here in the US...
