Do I need to have any Master's with ENEB to do that, or is it like a purely new program? Is it more like a new program, or is it a "certification" of a previous degree?

It is whole different program that was meant to be a an academic transfer of previous ENEB Master program coursework towards an Italian 1 Livello, but you can still do it without having done ENEB previously

If you have done ENEB previously and want to pick one of the 4 ENEB to Unimarconi Master's, the courses would match up, and you would get credit. 
The remaining items to do are the Master's Final Project and the 135 Question Final Exam.
If the ENEB coursework previously done does not perfectly match up, then you will get credits for those modules that do match up and would simply do the rest of the remaining  coursework  and the MFP + Final Exam

Thanks a lot! Do they automatically match my information from completed modules when I opt in to this Master's, or should I email the Academic department? And is there a mandatory minimum timeline to complete the program, or can I do it more quickly?

They automatically match the previous courses and apply the credits. One can finish the work quickly but the final exam they don’t allow until months into the program.

Unimarconi doesn’t officially acknowledge completion until several months after ENEB issues the ENEB diploma (which really does little), and the degree is issued later on.

So I started in November, asked to waive all credits so I could write papers for each course (previously I had done final exams), did the Master’s Final Project, then waited months to be able to take the final exam.

I got the ENEB diploma but it will be a few more months before Unimarconi recognizes completion, there will be an online graduation ceremony, and then documents will be issued by the end of this year (Oct-December).

**Has anyone received the official UniMarconi module descriptions for the ENEB Master’s programmes?**

Hi everyone,

Has anyone enrolled in the ENEB–Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi Master’s programme received an official module handbook, detailed syllabus, or course catalogue issued or formally approved by UniMarconi?

I specifically asked ENEB for the official academic documentation for the Master in Applied Big Data and Analytics, including:

* the individual module titles and codes;
* the number of CFU/ECTS assigned to each module;
* detailed module content and learning outcomes;
* workload and assessment methods;
* the exact official Italian qualification title;
* a sample transcript and Diploma Supplement.

ENEB did not answer these questions. Instead, they sent me the general promotional programme page again and repeated that the programme has 60 ECTS, takes nine months, and costs EUR 1,900.

I explained that I do not need an ENEB syllabus or a general marketing overview. I need official university documentation issued or approved by UniMarconi because a German university would require detailed module descriptions for possible credit recognition.

Has anyone received any of the following?

1. An official UniMarconi module handbook or detailed syllabus
2. An individual CFU breakdown for all modules
3. A sample UniMarconi transcript
4. A sample Diploma Supplement
5. Confirmation of the exact Italian qualification type
6. Documentation showing which modules appear on the final transcript
7. Direct confirmation from a UniMarconi department rather than ENEB

I would also be interested to know whether these documents were available before payment or only after enrolment.

ENEB’s continued refusal to provide clear academic documentation feels very unprofessional and raises serious concerns about transparency. It is difficult to understand why prospective students should pay EUR 1,900 before they are allowed to see the official study plan and module specifications of the university awarding the qualification.

Any documents, screenshots, anonymised transcripts, or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of things happened in real life at the same time and I wasn't able to work on this for awhile. When I came back to it the entire program had changed and all of the work I put in up until that point went up in smoke.

Overall, the change was the better. The ENEB-style essays for each unit were replaced with exams. This is trading one kind of busy work for another, but the new busy work bother me much less. The real improvement came with the new thesis/final project. It went from being a collection of short essays no different from typical ENEB courses with no real-world applicability to being a practical capstone designing and implementing big data solutions for a mid-size enterprise. At 12,000 words it still too short to use as s research sample to enter most doctoral programs, but if asked to submit it I would not be embarrassed by it. The comprehensive exam was eliminated, with unit exams seemingly meeting whatever objective the comprehensive exam was supposed to fulfill. 

When getting some clarification on capstone expectations from the marketing department (marketing was administering the Big Data degree) they mentioned they had to finish grading it by course completion date, rather than submitting by that date as one might expect. Due to the possibility of ENEB gonna ENEB at the worst possible time I requested the one-time 3 month extension that was promised in the sales letter. That needs to be sent to academy, because of course it does. 

Academy acted as though that was not part of the contract by promising it in the sales letter and said Unimarconi does not allow extensions. An hour later ENEB sent me an automated email saying my deadline was coming up and I could have an extension if I paid the tuition fee again.    But I was also told my deadline was 2 days beyond what I thought and I only had to submit by deadline, not have it graded. I'm assuming because the 9 months was calculated as a specific number of days rather than 9 exact calendar months.

In the interest of fairness I should note that communication has been DRASTICALLY improved since I did my first 2 degrees with ENEB. Whether it's because of the higher price tag on this degree or not I can't say, but these responses came no later than the next business day.

Getting to a point of being ready to submit took longer than I anticipated and I submitted 4 days before my deadline. It takes more than 3 days for it to be graded - and I FAILED with a 4/10?!?!?!?!? And ENEB didn't send me an email to alert to me something this important?!?!?!? I only saw it because I was constantly checking the campus site for status updates.

Upon looking at the feedback it was obviously graded an incompetent clanker. Of the 13 criticisms it had, 2.5 were fair. Half of one of the complaints was that "exhaustive depth" was expected, which would push the length to 40,000+ words. The other complaints claimed I did not meet requirements the AI hallucinated, said I should have done things I already did and one demonstrated that the AI did not know the difference between Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Server. Ironically, I cited 2 journal articles I didn't notice that I forgot to add to the bibliography until a few hours after I submitted and that went undetected, because of course it did. No time to bitch it and hope someone sees it in time so I'm just going to have to humor the clanker and do all of this right now. lfg.flac Watch it say the thing is too long after I make the additions it requested.

I spent the next 10 hours writing another 4000 words and went to submit the changes...and my course expired a full day before academy just told me it would expire in writing. Now I'm really    and sent an email to marketing pointing out I was told I had one more day and the grading appeared to be done by an incompetent AI, with detailed reasoning for the exceptions I took to the AI's explanations for the grade.

Before lunchtime in Spain the next day it was manually reviewed. The response seemed to dismiss some of my claims against the AI (potentially because marketing people are generally not IT people), but my grade on the final project was changed to 9.4. My overall GPA on the degree would convert to 3.9 on a 4 scale so it's not worth starting a fight over it and damaging the relationship. I thank marketing for the assistance and ask when I can expect to receive the degree, which goes to the diplomas email address. Fine.

I email diplomas asking when I can expect to receive the degree. No response from diplomas yet, but I got an automated email trying to sell me a physical diploma for $290 or a physical diploma with a translation and apostille for $640. As I established earlier, the apostille is no big deal in America and you can get it for minimal cost and a trip to a Secretary of State office if you need it. If I apply to something that wants a physical copy in the future it will be cheaper to buy a color laser printer and a box of parchment. I was promised digital copies of the degree and transcript in Italian and English in the sales letter, which is all I need.

The massive tuition hike at GCAS has made acceptance of the Unimarconi degree a moot point. 6000EUR was a tempting price for the degree. The change to that being billed per year for 3+ years combined with the degree having the terrible generalist name of Natural, Mathematical and Computational Sciences destroys the value proposition completely.

Good lord, that sounds like an incredibly long and painful process, so you're saying from start to finish to get the Unimarconi degree it would take basically the same length of time as it takes to make an entire new human being??? (nine months)
