Eh, I have a degree certificate awarded by UI1 with my name on it, my area of study, and my designation. UI1 is accredited, my degree comes from them, the way my friends in Spain explain it to me is that a propio from an accredited school is seen as something much better than a propio from an unaccredited institution and they sort of describe it in the same way we see MOOCs (propio from unaccredited institution) state-approved or nationally accredited (propio from accredited institution) versus regionally accredited (oficial).
I'm not saying it is accredited in the USA, that wasn't why I did it. It is obviously true that there is some value in the USA because a) some foreign credential evaluations offer it baccalaureate status or non-RA Master's status and b) because our job market isn't generally regulated for holders of business degrees, so if the company you work for doesn't specify RA-only, you stand a chance of talking your way into a job and checking the box. I think calling it a MOOC is just as disingenuous as claiming that it's an RA Master's degree, both ignore the facts to present a biased narrative.

The same few people have been overhyping eneb. It can be misleading. I did the program, had the Isabel thing, had the evaluation. The hype is not warranted. It is an unaccredited school and degree in Canada and usa. It has some value. There is work involved. Cheap. You may be able to go evaluation shopping and get something to your liking, but in the majority of cases you will end up with non-accredited amount all your other accredited programs.

Dumber,
I am not sure what you mean by "overhyping ENEB." No one on this board claims that Isabel I degrees will work for everyone and satisfy unlimited goals that people set for themselves. It's rather difficult to find such "all-purpose" degrees. For example, If someone intended to get an advanced degree in business that might help him teach at a local U.S. community college, I would be the first person to put out a word of caution about taking this specific route. Similarly, if a resident of Canada wanted to get the degree to work in the public sector, I would likewise tell him to be careful due to the lack of acceptance for these degrees by government-endorsed credential evaluation services. On the other hand, a business degree is most suitable for the private business sector in which evaluation is frequently optional, regardless of the country of residence.
To be more charitable, maybe you simply meant to say that a non-overhyped degree is "a foreign degree that is likely to be evaluated for equivalency in North American context." In that case, it would be best to seek degrees with official government approval in a given country. I would agree that this one would be much more risky due to a lack of such country government agency endorsement. However, the fact that a major NACES member has given it a Bachelor's degree equivalency, while another promises a Graduate Certificate equivalency, refutes the claim that this program cannot meet ANY possible goals and ought to be simply dismissed by board members. It can meet more limited goals of individuals, primarily of international business workers who need to show their training in a given area. They can rely on the institutional accreditation of the Spanish university. It may also meet the goals of individuals who are okay with having a "downgraded credential level" by NACES (Master's to second Bachelor's, or Master's to a Graduate Certificate). It may also work for those who are willing to search and pay for a non-NACES evaluation service evaluation in an attempt to find full Master's equivalency in the U.S. Therefore, the degrees have their use. They just don’t carry as much value as government-endorsed foreign qualifications.

I am not saying any of the things that you think I am saying even though they all positive towards eneb. I am saying Eneb is a non-accredited school and degree in Canada and the USA. I am saying the Isabel thing does not make it regional equivalent. There is work involved. It is affordable. I am saying it is being push here like a bad drug by a few posters and new posters. I am saying if you have interest in another discipline and already have a master then do an eneb for $300. If $300 is all you have then it is a easy call. Don’t get it evaluated. Used it as it is intended to be in Spain. Legit but of inferior value as compared to officiel or proprio from accredited institutions .

Dumber,
Are you from Canada or USA? I ask because I'm finding that Canada evaluators will not likely evaluate the Universidad Isabel I degree but only the ENEB degree. The positive evaluations received here in the USA are accepting validation certifications which most evaluators don't here in the USA but atleast 3 will. ENEB is nonaccredited and WES evaluated it as such but some of us have given it more praise due to the positive credential evaluations of accreditation through Isabel I (Master Propio) here in the USA from other NACES evaluators. I don't think anyone has had this in Canada.

It is just more hype and twisting ourselves in knots. What are the underlying motives? EBEB is unaccredited - the arrangements with Isabel do not make the master regional accredited. Those two statements are facts, and I can prove them from my experience doing the ENEB/Isabel thing. Yes, do evaluation shopping, and you may find something that will confirm your hype but to what ends. I used my ENEB/Isabel's master and I worked for it but this board is misleading.

Dumber,
Have you been counting on some specific outcome as a result of finishing your degree and this thing hasn't come to fruition? What claims on this board have you found to be misleading? It's natural that Universidad Isabel I isn't regionally accredited. After all, it's not an American university. It is an accredited university in Spain, which also offers non-official (university-specific) degrees, something which is covered by Spanish law.

Obviously my pushback is not to convince you not to push eneb. My aim is present honest information which I have paid for and believe in its reliability to present to those who may be new. Eneb is non-accredited. Its masters are non-accredited masters. The link to Isabel does not made eneb masters regional equivalent. One may be able to go evaluation shopping and may find an opinion he or she may like. Eneb is legit in spain. But because it’s unaccredited there its proprios are inferior to those of accredited institutions. We should be honest. I found a lot of great information here including, eneb, tesu etc. I now have degrees from both. But let’s be honest with eneb, unless that is it is our to push for eneb.

Who exactly had made the claim that ENEB is an accredited higher education institution in Spain? I am not aware of a single person who had made this claim. All the posts that I've read have only made the accreditation claim with reference to the ENEB partner university, mainly Unversidad Isabel I. ENEB is simply a training organization in Spain. Now, you are correct in saying that Universidad Isabel I - ENEB cooperation Masters aren't accredited in Spain AS DEGREES. They falls outside of official government degrees. So, we're on the same page. Why are you complaining? Yes, the propio degrees are in some ways inferior to official degrees. They carry less weight and present a number of challenges for evaluators outside of Spain. Were you unaware of that? The discussions on this forum mentioned that fact. Have you read them? Who is making these dishonest and misleading claims that you've said are the mainstay of this forum? I accept constructive criticism of the Spanish titulo propio. I am happy to discuss the limitations of those type of Spanish degrees. I just don't accept baseless criticism.

What? There are a LOT of posts on this forum claiming the ENEB degrees are equivalent to an accredited US graduate degree, going back for a couple years now since we started regularly discussing ENEB.
