Hello everyone,
I have been browsing through this forum for a few weeks now and I am planning on enrolling in March. The tips given on this forum are gold. What a community as well!
What would help ease my mind is getting some questions answered from an International student perspective. Kindly PM if you would not mind taking some time to offer assistance.

If you have any specific questions, it's best to ask them here. Not everyone is comfortable with PMs, especially with vague reasoning.

What's made me not go forward with UMPI enrolment is High School Diploma and Credit transfer evaluation
I'm having a really difficult time with WES. When I email them with specific questions, I receive a generic email detailing to refer back to the instructions on the website. This is 3 times now. Is there any way I can email someone who'll actually help me there?
I emailed Jessica and she told me nowadays they don't really care for the evaluation agency, any can do, begs the question, what are some other alternatives to WES?

There are plenty of alternatives. What country is your HS diploma from? Some evaluators are better for/more familiar with some countries than others.

what kind of problem you have encountered with WES? Note that it doesn't have to be WES, other NACES member evaluators like ECE, IEE are much more easier to communicate and takes shorter time than WES.

If you are planning to take alternative credits , you do not need school diploma eval. Which is big for some people who can not get transcript from school. In some countries its a mission to do that. So if you get certain amount of alt creditsyou can skip this step

I don't think that's true. At least, so far as I'm aware, UMPI requires either proof of HS graduation or proof of having an Associate degree.

Yup. We just hit this little bump in the road. My wife's HS level transcript is from Mexico. We are in the process of getting it evaluated by CED.
