I'm having a really difficult time with WES. When I email them with specific questions, I receive a generic email detailing to refer back to the instructions on the website. This is 3 times now. Is there any way I can email someone who'll actually help me there?
I emailed Jessica and she told me nowadays they don't really care for the evaluation agency, any can do, begs the question, what are some other alternatives to WES?
I'm dealing with this right now. WES was not an option. They wanted the HS level transcript straight from the school. My wife's school is a random place in Mexico lol.
I have turned in her stuff to CED evaluations. They were listed on UMPI's website. They offer translation services too (from Spanish).

Thank you

Jessica told me I must have a High School diploma submitted regardless of if I do alternative credits.

My High School Diploma and Uni Transcripts are from Kenya. Our HS diplomas are offered by a national body. They send you the original copies and don't have electronic copies. The question I now want to ask WES is,Can I have an electronic copy of my HS diploma instead sent by the High School I attended after they scan it.
Idk, WES are just to very helpful. I don't wanna have to pay then have papers rejected plus with there luck of proper comms, that would be a nightmare.

Yup. We just hit this little bump in the road. My wife's HS level transcript is from Mexico. We are in the process of getting it evaluated by CED.
What is your experience with CED so Far? Would care clarifying what CED needed from you in comparison to WES?

I have just sent them a scan of the document (front and back). That seemed to be what was required. If they ask, I'll mail them the original, but only if they ask. I only have one and we would have to travel to Mexico to get another, if it's even possible.
All I've done at this point is sent them that and paid ($140 I believe). They will send their evaluation straight to UMPI. I also requested a copy for myself. They claim this will be done in the next week or so.

Thanks a lot for your input. I definitely will be checking out CED and probably using them at this point. I would love an update on your progress after all is said and done.
Maybe I'll try get a US number through Dingtone as well cause relying on email communication is proper frustrating at times.

Since you have scans, you might want to get in touch with ACEI. They seem most willing to work with electronic copies, WES wants paper copies. ACEI also seems to be more responsive.

I already have 140 credits in China, but I hope to get 60 credits in umpi. Should I apply for a double degree or take more elective courses? By the way, do I have a chance to get 60 credits in one semester? Thank you very much!

When you say 140 credits in China, have you had them evaluated by an American evaluation company? This need to be done before UMPI will accept them.
You can do as many credits in an 8-week session as you are able to finish. Most students are able to do 9-15 credits in 8 weeks, but a few have been able to do 30 credits in a session.
