Hello All,
I am on an avid search for ways to study for AND pass Natural Sciences in 4 weeks...Any suggestions? I've got a 12 hour car ride this week; any good podcasts?
Also, has anyone else passed this test in such a short amount of time? I'm a little nervous because there are no flash cards. I have the CLEP 09 book, but other than that, I've just been browsing "specific exam feedback"
Thanks!!!!

do you think the "general" book would be sufficient? It includes natural sciences or?

I passed Natural Scienes in six weeks with these resources. I could have definitely done it faster if I had had more study time during each day.
REA Natural Sciences
Biology Demystified
Chemistry Demystified
Learner.org Microbiology videos
Learner.org World of Chemistry videos.
I know there are some webcasts of college biology courses out there, but they weren't really helpful to me.
And take a Petersen's practice test and a couple of the REA tests. It will help you gauge whether or not you are ready.
Good luck!

Thanks,
I found that book after I posted my reply...lol...oops...Gonna try to purchase it tomorrow...
In your HONEST opinion, do you think an hour or hour and a half every day for 4 weeks will be enough???
Is this test more recall than anything, or some solving?

Well, everyone learns differently, and I am not a science person, but I studied 2-3hours 4-5 days a week for 6 weeks. If you've had education in science before, it will probably be easier, I just didn't have very much knowledge of the subject. The test isn't really solving problems (there are a couple chemistry formula/reaction questions), just remembering a ton of facts. I was sure I would fail, but got a 54, so I was super relieved!
Good luck!

Shoto why don't you think the General book is enough? It's the one I'm using so I was just curious. Does this one contain more material?
