OK, I'm 27 credits away from completing my degree through Excelsior, and can only have a limited number of any more Applied Professional classes. 24 of these need to be upper level.

I'm ready to take the CLEP "Intro to Educational Psychology", am signed up for "Graduate Research and Writing", and am working through "Abnormal Psychology." I've already completed the DSST Management Information Systems and a traditional upper level Business Ethics (so I don't think I could use the ECE "Ethics: Theory & Practice" exam).

Right now I'm looking at taking the following:

• Organizational Behavior (ECE) - (will finish my concentration in Psychology)
  
• Business Law II (DSST)
  
• Human Resource Management (ECE) (these two finish concentration in Business)
  

• Drug and Alcohol Abuse (DSST)
  
• World Population (ECE)
  
• Foundations in Gerontology (ECE)
  

The main website says that a couple of exams are added monthly - is that true, and do you all see a trend to cover more ECE exams?

I've got a number I want to take that I have some professional exposure to, so don't want to do the full scale course if I don't have to (like Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Law) and would love to have a test preparation validation tool like this.

Other than this site and IStudySmart - are there any other tools out there that people are using to prepare for the ECE exams? I'll post separately about looking for help with which to take.

I only need help with two more DSST exams and no CLEPs, but have a handful of ECE exams to do still. I'm considering using IStudySmart, but was curious about the experiences others here have had. I'm currently working though Abnormal Psych, but without having taken a test, don't have a sense of how good of a prep this is or will be.

I'm not interested in just passing the exams, but in maintaining my GPA as I want to work on my Masters. I know it's not really a big deal, but it's a matter of pride, and all things being equal, who knows if it might not matter to some school.

Anyone have any insight or perspective on this? Also, any other good references for ECE exams - as clear as I can tell, InstaCert only has one ECE test listed.

When I Inquired of the GRE examinations, my education councilors, said these are out of the question until, after I get a bachelor's degree.

I realize these tests are super-hard, but the rewards up to 30 credits, is far too tempting.

So is there any pre-qualifications to take the GRE?

I know that there is a limit on earning multiple Bachelor's degrees, in the form that only 90 of said credits will transfer to the new Bachelor's, plus a few more restrictions.

But are there any restrictions on the earning of multiple Associates?

I ask this because, I am just a few exams away from completing my CCAF AAS Aircraft Maintenance Technology, and then want to focus on the AS of Business through Excellsior.

And then, As I plan to get at least, two Bachelor's (neither of which have anything to do with Aircraft), the other in Arts (probably Psychology), If I can also earn an associate of Arts, as well.

These Associates degrees may not carry as much weight as Bachelors, but they are, in a way, an important milestone that mark the halfway point.

So can I have multiple associates, or since I'll already have one (CCAF AAS AMT), I'll have to skip right to the bachelors

I need nine natural science credits. Science and math just aren't my thing. Fortunately, I already have my math credits from courses I took way back in college. Can anyone suggest some science exams for someone who HATES science?

My school, Thomas Edison, has a 6 credit 12-week course on environmental science that I could probably handle. (Cost isn't a factor in whether to take a test or not since with TE you can pay a year's tution in one shot.) If I take the class I still would need 3 credits. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I just completed the 1st of the 2 ECE Ethics practice exams and wonder if anyone can shed some light on my results. My score was 64 of 100 points. My statistical result shows 88.73 percentile, with a mean % of 43.72%. What exactly do these results tell me? I'm wondering how this score might result if this were my score on the actual exam. I wish they would give a letter grade- at least I would know if I would have received a C or not. Would a 64/100 translate into a D and therefore a failure on the actual exam?:confused: EC exam grading seems much less straightforward then CLEP or DSST results. Any help is appreciated!

I've seen a couple of people ask what to do if they have to take a college course that is not offered in a test or by the school in which they are enrolled. In most instances, you would probably have to go to a local school and enroll as a transient student. However, there are schools that offer web-based and correspondence courses for open enrollment for college credit. Some of these don't even require the student to go through the school's admission process. Just sign up for the class and pay tuition and books. Also, these correspondence courses are many times charged as IN-STATE tuition even if you don't live in the same state as the school. Many of these schools are the state-funded colleges and Universities. These aren't degree mills presenting watered-down classes. Anyway, I present this list to the board as general information for the members.

[SIZE="2"][COLOR="Navy"]If all goes well - tomorrow WILL mark the END of my pursuit for my degree; it's only been 26 years since I first began this crazy ride. Of course all good things must come to and end (not) and although I will take the "final-final" tomorrow I probably will not receive my grade much sooner than those pesky dantes exams (2-3 weeks).

In any event, I will do my best (shades of college math clep - CRAP!) and hope to pass with as miserable a grade as possible - but a "pass is a pass." Actually, I have a 82 (B) for the classs and MUST pass the final in order to pass the course.

I sit the exam at 1100 hours (est) and only have 1 hour to complete around 15-20 questions ranging from formulas, basic to intermediate algebra, logarithms, and the metric system. It is an open book test, which is to say that I may be able to look for solution methods but not the actual problem and/or solution.

This is my next exam- 2 weeks from Monday. I've been studying for a while, I tend to spend a lot more time preparing for exams than most folks as my study time is very limited on a day to day basis. I've been using IC DSST Ethics, a couple guides specifically for ECE Ethics from Ebay, and a textbook. I'm feeling kind of uneasy about this one. Any further input would be appreciated! It just seems like a lot of information and names/theories to keep straight! I've heard some say that IC with the new scenerios is enough- any other testimonials? If I pass this one, I plan to finish my last 4 courses traditionally and thru Excelsior courses. Thanks for the input.
