Hi, I am needing three more credits in a natural science. I am horrible and ignorant when it comes to this area of study. Which CLEP/DSST exam(s) are recommended for non-science people? Is there a test that is more realistic to pass?
I started studying the biology; however, I have gotten too overwhelmed. I feel like I need a dictionary to help me even understand the answers or definitions. It all seems to run together and I just see blah, blah, blah, blah, blah on the pages now! I am uncertain as to the real possibility of me passing the biology CLEP. And, I do not want to waste more time. Maybe, I just need to fork up the money and actually take a science class, *sighs*.
Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

Some Biology is included in the CLEP natural science test, that way the studying you have done won't go to waste. Maybe there is a Nutrition ECE out there?! That seems like the most relatable. After that probably Environmental or Earth Science.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

+1, This is probably the easiest science at Straighterline as it's open book final. The rest such as Microbiology are all closed book.
However; I would still recommend Microbiology as it's $25 for 3 credits. You won't find anything other than Saylor that's $25/3 credits.
If you want to take any sciences, it's got to be at SL for the easiest as the majority of them are passable before you get to the final.

Which school are you going to? You can see Straighterline's partners on their website here:
Partner Colleges. If you aren't going to one of these schools, they aren't likely to transfer unless your school accepts ACE credits.
Straighterline charges a monthly $99 fee and then classes are normally $49, though some are a bit more. For many of their classes, if you score well enough on the quizzes and mid-term tests you can be certain you will pass the course even before you get to the proctored exam. It can really take the pressure off.
I am currently doing their Intro to Nutrition course as my science class and it doesn't seem too bad and I am math/science phobic
Some schools, such as Thomas Edison, consider computer classes to fulfill Natural Sciences. So if you are good with computers that might be something to consider. The only reason I'm doing Nutrition instead of just taking the Clep Computer Concepts exam is I had a two for one deal at SL.

Yes, hold up....what school are we talking? For the 'Big 3" Straighterline is likely the answer, came for Straighterline Partner schools.....all others will likely need a different choice.
What school are you taking it to?
Do they require a Lab component?
AS far as which SL to take (if your school accepts SL) I would say the Environmental Science is probably easiest, General Bio is good too and the lab kit for that one is cheap.
