Cost is factor for me too. I just try to decide cost vs writing academic paper in large volume fast. Its big decision. Considering that whole grade goes in last paper in many cases. Plus as it was mentioned time constraints due to other responsibilities. Its not easy to make this very important decision

I would love get sm Associate degree but options discussed here are not available for international students.i cant pay extra just for Associate degree. So i have not much choice but make a decision between TESU and wait to collect money to pay tuition. Or enroll in UMPI and pay less but work 15 hours day on courses to finish ASAP for cheaper. Not best position to be in
Plus TESU changing policies keeps me up at night literally. Will i be able to finish degree at the cost and suitable policies? I would love to get comsci degree. Its mission to choose on so many levels

I am slightly confused about what you mean. Most community colleges tend to have a very limited ability to transfer in credits. If you can't transfer in credits from places like Sophia, the cost of your Associate's degree will be more than most of us are spending at UMPI or TESU for a Bachelor's degree.

Some people will prefer to write 1 Capstone instead of multiple papers with length 12 pages and more for at least 4 months upto 10 months or so..... its a lot to think about here
If u have to complete at least 10 courses at UMPI.most probably u will write at least 120 pages . Lol. Its like writing a book when u need to write around 25 pages ( if i am not mistaken) for a Capstone at TESU. Plus TESU has more degree options which are not available at UMPI
I have no idea where you're getting 120 pages from! I've completed 12 courses (in 2 terms) at UMPI and haven't written that many pages. The Final Assignment is one of 3 things: a exam, a paper, or a project. Many classes have projects. Some have papers. The papers I have written have ranged from 5-7 to 15-20 pages as the requirement. Many degrees at UMPI do NOT have a capstone. I currently have a 4.0 at UMPI so the Final Assessment being your grade for the course isn't a problem. Many b&m colleges use your final exam as your grade or the midterm and final. I will have completed 16 courses in 3 terms when I graduate in March. UMPI has cost me $4,200. There are no additional fees or textbooks required either. I've already applied for graduation and there wasn't a fee for it.
Many of the courses folks take at Study require papers. TESU now requires RA credits. Chances are high that you'll be doing some writing in those courses. Writing is a part of college. No getting around it.

I don't work 15 hours a day on my courses. Nowhere near that amount of time. I haven't spent 15 hours on the course content on any of my classes. Researching and writing a paper? I have spent that much time on 1 paper. Literally 1 paper. It was the longest one I've had to write. I got an A on it. So that time was spent wisely.

Ok good to know. Then maybe it will be easier to choose. Out of that 16 courses how many pages in total would u say u wrote ?
Also do u have any tools to check for plagiarism and is there any online academic library which can be used for papers ? Or must i rely mostly on outside academic papers for my assignments?
Thank you

Yeah, so far 1 of my classes were 15 page paper, 2 were doing project, and one was an exam. I’m in accounting major though so might be more projects for me. And I’ve only had 4 classes so far.

For tools yes. They even have a full library with academic sources to use.

The last class I took at UMPI had no essay, and it was just a 37 multiple answer test. TESU may work for you and I'm glad for you. UMPI works for me, so I'm glad for me. My friend it's difficult for someone to write so much paper work, and you seem to like it, you also said they do not let you choose which courses you want to take to make it more easy, if some do not have that time to finished in 8 weeks he will ending loosing money.
I like more multiple choice exams than write a whole story, and what you said is they do not have that option for examination. A lot of equivalents have proctor exams you have to study for take exams, and with. Who did you plan on using?
For example:
UMPI Change Management -- Essay that is only 5 pages, they pretty much give you the outline to start with.
Study.com Change Management -- Essay that is 1500 words (5-6 pages).
UMPI Leadership -- Essay that is a first person point of view about your own leadership style and what your weaknesses are. 4-5 pages.
Study.com Leadership -- Essay that is 8-10 pages from a professional point of view about analyzing leadership styles. Plus a full powerpoint presenting it.
straighterline does not offer either.
Both of these are TESU requirements for Business typically as well, especially change management.

My friend it's only 8 weeks most people here are Adults with full time jobs and most have families so is to hard to keep UMPI cheap option and with a bunch of paper work.
You end spending almost the same with TESU.
