Looks like umpi's YourPace system is under review of some sort? Doesn't seem to concerning but does raise some eyebrows.

I am very concerned. I am an UMPI grad and I have two adult children that are preparing to attend YourPace. Here is a link to the letter sent to UMPI by NECHE

Seems pretty open and shut then. They were pressured to investigate, they are, and (I suspect) will not turn up anything they hadn’t already approved.

And Todd's recent article cited stuff such as half of the people who attend UMPI finishing in one semester. Although he conveniently left out that a semester is actually two 8-week terms, since it didn't fit the narrative.
The narrative is that “college hacking,” “degree hacking,” or “speed-running” degrees is bad and that something needs to be done about it.

This is also very bad news for Charter Oak, whose incoming President might otherwise have been supportive of expanding the alt-credit it accepts. Ah, well.

No surprise. The Washington Fish Wapper makes no mention of similar programs offered by what we call the Big Three, and so many other colleges and universities.
