I am a student at UMPI now as well. ss20ts is right in everything he has said. The only difference between my degree plan and his, is I have my language option adjusted due to being deaf.
Also please, please, please keep in mind. The online school is online.umpi.edu if you find information on umpi.edu that doesn't have the online. subdomain, it is safe to assume it isn't a YourPace program and is in person instead. The online plans are listed here, and these are the only options: https://online.umpi.edu/programs/programs.aspx
What about the associate degree in liberal studies in general concentration I will contact them to see is my credits can be used to finished this if you the program requirements for a bachelor in liberal studies are the same may paying one term and get 15 credits can be used full to get this done and then later I see to finished their bachelor.
In progress:
TESU - ASNSM ASBA, UNIR- Master Cyber Security
Completed:
TESU - BA Computer Science

I created a spreadsheet for a UMPI history degree. Perhaps gams007 also used UMPI's stated General Education Curriculum (http://catalog.umpi.edu/preview_program....3&poid=239) as a reference, which says that Human Biology DOES satisfy Scientific Reasoning Learning Objective C.
Do online degrees not have the same Gen Ed requirements?
The YourPace degrees have the same GEC. Ashkir did not receive credit for BIO103 for the Sophia Human Biology course in his transcript evaluations. I was also denied when I tried to transfer in this course. Just because a course has the same name does not mean that a college will accept it.

I am trying to be accurate here. This is what UMPI says
Learning Objectives C
Students will demonstrate the ability to be consumers of biological and other scientific information to better inform one’s daily life.
You say they require 105 to fulfill the requirement. The course catalog specifically gives 7 courses that will work, at least 4 of which don't appear to have a lab.
According to the catalog, there are 5 learning objectives under Quantitative/Science. What are you referring to when you say "the" requirement?
College (146): RA (134), NA (12)
ACE-recommended (105): Sophia (53), Study (28), Google (12), TEEX (10), Institutes (2)

Please tell me where you see a YourPace associates degree on the YourPace page:

No one can tell you that you will complete 5 courses in a term. Every course isn't even offered every term!

These are UMPI courses NOT Sophia courses!!!! Sophia's Human Biology does NOT transfer in for this learning objective. How many more times can we say it?

If you look at the GE requirements in the catalog, section 3 is Quantitative & Scientific Reasoning, and there are 5 different components to it; sections a & b are math; sections c, d & e are science. Sophia's Human Biology looks to fulfill section c, and their Environmental Science looks to fulfill section d. So, the one that's an issue is section e, which is a lab science (there are 14 different courses listed, and only 1 is not a lab science, BUT that one has a pre-req that IS a lab science, so I guess that's why?) Either way, you need a 4cr LAB SCIENCE for this school.

I don't even know why you've said it more than once. I am not talking about Sophia now, and I didn't mention Sophia in what you quoted above. BIO103 Human Biology. That is a UMPI offering. Ashkir said Sophia's Human Biology transferred in as UMPI's BIO103. Later he said he only got elective credit for it. Okay. Really it should have come in as BIO1XX then, but whatever.
Ashkir THEN said "They require 105 to fulfill the requirement" and "It has to have a lab." Wait, so there is no way a Study.com or regionally-accredited 3cr NUTRITION course is going to fulfill this? How does he know?

I'm well versed in the GEC. Thanks! I have said this a few times already. Human Biology did NOT transfer into ANY of the GEC for me. And I have already said that a lab science is required. And again UMPI offers all of the science courses required including the lab science.
Sophia's Environmental Science will transfer into 3D. It did for me.

Right, Sophia's Human Biology does NOT transfer in to the GEC. It transfers in as a general elective which is totally outside of the GEC.
BIO105 has a lab and fulfills multiple learning objectives in the GEC. BIO105 has to have the lab component is what he was talking about. He said nothing about a nutrition course. If a nutrition course is accepted will not fulfill the same learning objectives as BIO105.

Like ss20ts I ttransferred too. Sophia's Human Biology transfers in as BIO103 ELECTIVE Human Biology.
UMPI Requires BIO105 Human Biology to count for the GEC. 103 isn't good enough for them. So it's just elective credits, for the electives of the GEC. Not for the GEC requirement.
I asked my adviser how I can get Human Biology to be 105 for the GEC requirement, they said the only outside alternative source they accept is straighter line. The ones I linked for study.com etc were not acceptable to them

So for you it transferred into 3C - all the way on the right the GL03. They wouldn't accept it for me. My general electives are all full.

I think I'll just walk away from this thread and let you and Ashkir ride it out.
