Hello
Does anyone know of any alternatives for the TESU discrete math course?
TESU is going to cost at least 1500 USD and will take 4 months. Do you know of any RA providers or alternate providers, like SDC which will be accepted by TESU?
I am on a student budget and am currently looking for any affordable/faster options.
Thanks

https://westcottcourses.com/courses.html
U r better recheck if it will be accepted at TESU before signing up for it.
They have 2 options of the course - for math majors and for com sci . Make sure to check course which is related to u

If you want to try to go with Westcott, make sure you don't mention Westcott when talking to a TESU advisor! They will say it's not accepted because Westcott isn't a school. You need to only mention UMass Global and the course number.

Anyone look at a local community college or one in your state? Might be cheaper than Westcott. Even 4 year state universities may be cheaper in some states for residents.

Belatedly, but in case others come looking, there is a Finnish university that has Discrete Math for 15€. https://hakija.oma.metropolia.fi/#2910 Plus evaluation fee of about $200 at ACEI.
It would be a good idea to take multiple courses from Metropolia, only pay the evaluation fee once, and hopefully get a decent number of credits towards a degree.

Never heard about them.
I guess the courses would go into our Peppi transcript, right?
I´ll check it, I love almost free stuff

I just found out about them when looking at other Finnish universities. They would need a separate evaluation from XAMK (pay for 2 evaluations), if you have XAMK credits, but Metropolia has a lot of low-cost CS courses. See this thread, if you haven't already: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Sci-degree

Thank you. I haven`t checked it yet. I have been studying the leadership courses in Study.com in order to try to get the certificate in Org. Leadership.
Those SDC´s Leadership courses seem very useful, they have a lot of administration topics inside and I`m reinforcing it each day, since I`m teaching what I´m learning, sometimes with one day of difference.
