For anyone mapping out a TESU degree, Study.com continues to be a good option for earning transfer credits and it has some updates worth knowing about. Here’s what’s new and helpful:
$95/month plan: You can enroll in two courses at a time but can now take as many courses as you want per month under one flat rate. For anyone who works steadily, that can translate into finishing multiple TESU-eligible courses each billing cycle.
No proctored exams: All finals are now open book and open note, which simplifies scheduling and removes a common bottleneck for finishing courses.
Quick grading: Assignments are usually turned around within a couple of days, which makes it easier to keep pace and plan your transfers.
Mobile learning: There’s a new app that lets you complete courses, quizzes, and track progress directly from your phone — nice for fitting in lessons throughout the day.
Study.com courses continue to map cleanly into TESU degree plans, especially for general education, business and liberal studies programs. It’s also a good source for electives if you’re trying to minimize TESU tuition and complete more credits before residency requirements kick in.
If you’re planning your degree, it’s worth revisiting the Study.com equivalency list on TESU’s site. You can see details for Study.com courses that transfer to TESU here: https://study.com/college/school/thomas-edison-state-university.html?adkey=eda9847cda664406840db845f2a02f6b
