I desperately need some direction with the new DSST Substance Abuse exam. The subject forum area has limited info and is mostly dated and focused on the previous Drug and Alcohol exam. Any online resources or direction would be highly welcomed. I am currently using Pass your class and IC. Anybody take this new exam and pass? Iâm told this exam is a real bear! I donât think my stunning good looks or award winning smile is going to get me past this one. Tuesday is D-day for me. Help!

I just passed that exam a few weeks ago. I only used IC and read through Pass This Class once and that was more than enough.

What are IC and Pass This Class? I am taking the exam next Monday and a little nervous. I am studying Instacert like crazy. Will that be enough or do I need to look at the things you guys are listing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

IC is InstantCert; PasssThisclass is another study resource that you have to pay for. I am never one to say IC covers everything but on CLEP and DSST it is pass or fail and IC is usally enough. I would always recommend the specific exam feedback because that is where you will find other resources or hints also.
Good luck.

Took the test today (new version) I passed with a 460. I was worried while taking the test and I do have a medical background. Some of the questions did seem a little tricky and the choices were very similar. But I used IC and Passyourclass - plus I had a text book that I referred to for more detailed explanations.
I am onto my last 2 tests - I just have to figure out which ones. I think it will be World Religions ( but I think that has a new test version out too) or Human Growth and Development / Intro to Educational Psychology -
Any input on the last 2 exams I should pick??? They can be in anything as long as they are upper credits.
