Pierpont BOG AAS Transcripts

First I apologize for not getting back to you. Yes, we are working on getting all BOG students a final transcripts. I agree, it is very important.

I have to admit that was more than I expected. Here's to hoping they go through with it.

Right, so now I have to hope that they make this change soon enough so my son can either apply for graduation or bow out.

I would ask for a timeline on that, something concrete.

Has there been any update to this? I was looking to do the BOG AAS, however, if no transcript is allowed I don't see the point. The main reason I was looking at it was because I already meet all of the requirements for the AAS and to get the credit forgiveness.

I'm taking a class in October to get my transcript, and I have not seen an alternative to that.

I emailed Nancy about a few other questions I had and inquired about the transcript. She said the same that you guys have mentioned that you needed to have 1 credit from Pierpont if you wanted a Pierpont transcript.

The question I asked as well was with the class forgiveness if I transferred in the credits that would be forgiven to raise the GPA would Pierpont only supply my passing credits on their transcript and she said yes none of the others would show up. Does what I am asking make sense and does her response sound right? That is the main reason for me personally to go with them is for the bad credits I have to essentially "drop off" but be able to retain my good classes.

Right, how would they calculate it though?  Or would each individual school be different?  The credits that are bad are over 15 years old.  Pierpont is saying they will still accept the old credits.  How does a school like TESU treat those?

Each school is going to be different in my experience. WGU wouldn't take any technical credits over 5 years old. TESU accepted credits that are over 20.
