It sounds very similar to Modern States, is NCCRS accredited and partnered with Excelsior College. You get the transcript through Excelsior and it looks to me like it allows you to take Clep-style courses online for free. Modern States still requires you to go to a Clep testing center, which is not practical for some people.
Anyway, I just got an email from them saying it'll be less than 30 days, so I'm assuming June. So check it out

At any rate, i'm excited about them. I'll probably take some courses even though I have no use for them.

I hear what you're saying but they've changed their website in the last week as well. Go take a look at it, it looks like its about ready to launch

I check the website daily, followed them on LinkedIn, and have been having a few email exchanges with them. Haha Trust me, no one is looking forward to their program more than me. I simply don't count my chickens before they hatch and try not to hold my breath until they're a sure thing.
Here's to hoping they launch in the next 30 days

ModernStates is a CLEP/AP-prep website, and provide vouchers for you to take free CLEP and AP exams (and reimburse you the testing center fees). They've never stated they're actual college-credit bearing exams.
OnlineDegree.com is an actual course provider like Study.com or SL, but with free courses and online exams.
Totally different approach than ModernStates.org.
Also, with OD, I think that you CAN opt to get EC transcripts (for $40), or you can just have them sent directly to the school. I know for certain TESU won't accept EC transcripts for anything earned outside of EC - and I'm sure many other schools are the same.

You were comparing OD to MS, but really it's closer to Study.com or SL. It's a credit-granting course provider. MS is not.
I was clarifying for others who might be trying to figure out the different options in the future.

yeah, that was posted the day they changed it (5 days ago)
and they've been saying 30 days since they were first mentioned on this forum (March 29)

granted March 29 was just 41 days ago, but still ... I'll believe it when I see it

This might be a great option for those interested in EC as opposed to TESU. They've got a 'sample' course equivalency listed for an AS @ EC.
https://www.onlinedegree.com/full-transfer-guide/
https://www.onlinedegree.com/wp-content/...a_4-18.pdf
Hoping this is or does become real soon. It could mean a very large shift in enrollments if EC has fourteen(14) 3cr and one(1) 2cr
free courses.
I wasn't really excited at first but now I'm on the seat of my pants.
