Also, the 4th unit overlaps with the developing effective teams, 1 credit course. Planning to do those courses alongside or back-to-back with the new communication at work course would be a very efficient choice in my opinion.

Good morning,
I have never taken a Sophia course.  Can you explain how a Sophia course is structured and graded?  Is there a proctored exam at the end. I always heard great things about the Sophia platform.  Thank you!

I finished the new communication at work course. It was fun, quick, and relevant to the modern era of WFH(there's even a section on technology based communications like Zoom meetings). As I said before, there is some overlap with their other courses like Public Speaking and Developing Effective Work Teams so planning those courses around each other would be an efficient use of your time while complimenting and reinforcing the topics covered in the courses.

The single touchstone assignment was simple and straightforward. I just submitted it, so I'm not expecting it to be graded for at least a few days, but it's nothing to be afraid of.

I'm not expecting it to transfer to WGU, but it would be nice if it transfers in as a technical communications course.

Almost certainly LL. Most if not all of Sophia's other courses are LL and after doing this one, I don't feel it went into enough depth to be UL.

I haven't seen any of Sophia's courses come in as UL anywhere.

Strayer takes Sophia Project Management and Statistics as UL. But it's strange, because many Sophia courses come in as departmental or free electives that don't satisfy their gen ed requirements - US History and Econ are examples. Except for those two UL courses, their equivalencies for Sophia are generally worse than TESU. Quite surprising, because Sophia and Strayer are part of the same company.
TESU Class of 2024 BSBA-CIS+GM, BSIT, ASNSM-CS+Math, AAS-GEN
Earned credits from Sophia, SDC, ASU ULC, TEEX, Microsoft, Strayer, TESU, Saylor, DSST, CLEP, CompTIA, StraighterLine, and others since starting in April 2020

Just thought I'd update that I got my grade back for the assignment: 145/150. Don't be afraid of this assignment, it's not designed to trip you up or take all your time.
