After I looked at it again, I realized I was reading it incorrectly.

I'm still confused. I need about 3 credits of Free Electives (I'm doing BA Comp Sci through TESC). Is each course 2 credits or 3? I think I'm getting conflicting responses as I read this thread.

They are worth two, so you have to do two of them to get enough credits. But they are free and fairly easy.

Does anyone know if any of this has changed since TESC changed their requirements last year (July 1, 2013)? When I look at their list of General Education Courses, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Computer Science (COS), and Computer Technology (CMP) courses all count in the Intellectual & Practical Skills section (A). I'm thinking that this would mean that ALL CIS courses count, even TEEX (CIS-299 and CIS-344), but I want to make sure before I do anything. I have to take 3 units of General Ed, and I'm hoping for free if I can.
Any help would be appreciated!

TESC has listed some of its CIS, COS, and CMP courses as Intellectual and Practical Skills, but not all of them. Some of them count as a natural science even if they don't count as Intellectual & Practical Skills, however. Interestingly, Networking Technology is not listed under either category even though a forum member claims he used it as a natural science. Things change, though.

What I am more than interested in is whether a combination of 2 credits of CIS-299 and 2 credits of CIS-344 could be used to fulfill a 3 credit CIS107 or above requirement. Has anyone tried this?

I'm a bit confused here. Does it matter if i retake the post tests every time? On most I took two tries to get above 80%. As long as you get to 80% in the allotted 3 tries I should be good right? Thanks
