Please let me know if there are any FEMA credits that qualify for possible humanities, social science, physical science, or upper level business credits. I don't need any electives. Also do these classes have any sylabuses that I can show my college so that they can send them in to hq to get approved.

I believe there is one FEMA class that TESC takes as a humanity. I don't remember which one, this was asked a couple months ago and somebody here knows.
Have you looked at NFA? they are essentially the same, free, and some count as "fire science". They are ACE approved and vastly more likely to be accepted at your college.

the NFA courses are ACE approved, so I believe you will need an ACE transcript, but that's only $40 for all 4 classes, so $10/credit.
I'm afraid that not all those FEMA courses are actually worth anything and some of them are gone now, but, I don't think I will ever have to take another one again even if I use the max possible towards a B.S. at EC.
NFA is actually the single best value per credit there is, excluding only FEMA > TESC. Too bad there's only 4 of them worth anything!

Also, see this link for the COMPLETE list of FEMA courses, the home page only has a handful. By my guestimation there may be a hundred here

It seems TESC may take NFA raw as well, I'm uncertain, but I was reading some old posts for an unrelated reason and it was implied. If the $40 concerns you perhaps it would be worth a phone call to check.

ok, I will give them a call and find out. The $40 is very reasonable... so I can't complain at all. It's just going to be a long wait for them to evaluate my transcripts at TESC. They told me I can expect 4-6 wks
after they get all my transcripts from the various schools I went to. So if those all arrive in the next week or so... I am still looking at the end of October-- or later-- to find out what they will take and what I need to fill any open spots. blu2blu said it took 9 wks for his evaluation
. So it is a waiting game at best right now. According to my calculations I will need about 9 free elective credits and I have been taking a few FEMA's already. They are interesting, and not bad really. How do the NFA compare? Are they similar?

Rickyjo, What is the forth course you speak of from NFA that is ACE approved? I am only aware of 3 that are ACE approved. I haven't really been keeping up on ACE and NFA and if there is another course then I think I need to take it. Please let me know.

Rickyjo,
I'm here to ask the same thing. What is the fourth course? I had my son take the other three last year. I tried to do a search but for some reason the search feature wasn't working when I tried. Is the fourth one no longer available to take?
Thanks
