It appears that IS002 does not exist any longer on the FEMA website.

Just a quick note:
I got my TESC credit bank transcript back and they did not give me credit for IS-00015.A and IS-00394.A. I'm going to call them and give them the TESC course numbers listed for them and ask them why. I hope it was just a mistake. iwannapass Wrote:These TESC FEMA courses are upper level credit.

Katterina,
How long did it take for TESC to translate your FEMA credits? Also what is the procedure to get fema credit to TESC, and how long does this process take? Sorry if I am asking too many question. Just that I need to submit my FEMA course to TESC

I have completed 24 Fema Credits working off of the list you posted.
However, there are a few notes I would make to people working off your list. 1. A few of the courses you listed are no longer available: Is-002 (as mentioned earlier) Is-195 Is-009 Is-534 Although several of the courses are no longer available there are newer courses that have been developed since. However, I do not know if they have a TESC equivalent to persue for credit. I would appreciate If anyone could find this out. 2. For the following you need to order materials from fema- NO DOWNLOAD MATERIALS-SNAIL MAIL. Is-631 Is-632 3. OUT OF MATERIALS for course: IS-630 (I would like to take this, if you still have the material pm me- thanx)

Update:
I finally got ahold of TESC about my FEMA credits. They said that leaving IS-00015.A off the transcript was an error, which they would fix, but IS-00394.A still had not been reviewed by ACE or TESC for credit. IS-00394(no A) is still acceptable for credit, although I didn't find it on FEMA's website, so it could be an older course that isn't available anymore. Mapalo: the transfer took about three weeks, and it took another week for them to send Excelsior College their transcript. Excelsior can take 6-8 weeks to do a credit review according to their website. Also, if you do a search on the word "bank" at TESC's website it should take you to the forms you will need for credit banking.
