This might be a repeat, but is there anyway to creditwash FEMA courses, so that I can transfer it to a regionally accredited Cal State school?

I've not done it, but FEMA has a list of Emergency Management schools. I'd say that perhaps that list would be where you could start. This question has been asked before, but I don't believe we have ever come up with a solution.
The best way to transfer is to find out if your school takes ACE evaluated courses, and if they do, you're golden. At that point, you can use anything that you can put on an ACE transcript. If they don't, you're going to spend a lot of time and money trying to outwit your school, which likely won't work. Schools almost never accept transfer credit via third party (except for the 1 person who emails me about once a month to remind me of his single 3 credit exception.....yawn). So, in other words, to successfully launder a credit, the school you send FEMA to would have to list it on your transcript AS IF the credit originated at that school. Good luck!

When I was still a traditional student CalStateLA refused to transfer in my generic business classes from another RA school. I really wouldn't count on them to treat any credit favorably unless you got word from them ahead of time that your plan would work.

I don't know about FEMA specifically, but the CSU system changed last year to accepting more CLEP, DSST, and ACE credits.
The UC system doesn't accept any of these. HTH |
