KayV Wrote:The Annenberg courses are great, but they won't be transcripted until the end of the semester, which might be an issue for her. Yes, she needs it quickly, so thanks for the heads-up. Maybe her job would accept it if she could show she completed the work, but was just waiting on the transcript. Thanks!

[quote=cookderosa]YES! The Annenberg Media courses are 2 or 3 credits and CHEAP. Annenberg Learner - Teacher Professional Development is the main page
These are on a Colorado State University transcript and have EDU prefixes. They are considered graduate level, which is a bonus. Thank you, Jennifer! Don't know why I didn't think of Annenberg. Do you think the Annenberg courses would be too difficult since they are on a graduate level? She did well in her LL courses, but had to really work at it. A couple of these look quite interesting, especially the reading courses, but I'm not sure about the level of expected requirements. What do you think about the difficulty levels and how much prep/time do you think these would require? Blessings, Julie

VESI through Morningside...or Saint Catherines maybe? I don't know where they stand right now, but they were quick and relatively cheap.Courses - Online Continuing Education Courses for Teachers - CEUs, PLUs, Undergraduate, Graduate, Distance Learning for Educators - VESi

Here is the link that mentions Morningside https://www.virtualeduc.com/direct_accou....php?uid=2
Probably need to make some calls on this....the offering seems to constantly flux, for example it appears that St Catherines no longer offers these, but that Morningside once again does.

Once upon a time you just took the VESI course and Morningside would transcript it...very simple and cheap. Then they started requiring additional work (a paper on each course if memory serves), this made them less appealing and folks sort of migrated to St. Catherine's...now it looks like St Catherine's isn't working with VESI at all, but there is no mention of extra work at Morningside....so if you get it sorted it would be great to know! ![]()
