ENEB won't let me graduate and refusing to answer all emails and calls

Chuckled at the collapse comment as ENEB has turned this barely known program into a cash cow. The last thing they would be thinking about is collapsing and instead focusing on finding room for these enrollment deposits.

In this forum, what has happened is an unrealistic expectation from a small institution. There are so many wasted posts complaining about time delays, while there are clear, detailed posts stating the delays before they enroll. Your new enrollment won't change the pacing but will only increase the backlog. If you can get some clarity on this, you can earn a master's degree within a year, and outside of a minimal amount of programs, this is exceptionally fast.

The herd mentality in this forum is wild.

As a freethinker who doesn't follow the crowd, there has been a night and day difference with ENEB in just a few months.  From changes in degrees titles to some not getting all of their graduation documents received at one time to degrees awarded based on a 50 question exam amongst other things are a few causes of concern for someone who has been watching the ENEB Master thread like myself for more than 3 years now.  I've been an open-minded supporter of ENEB from the beginning when a vast majority were skeptical about them.

What I mean by collapsing on itself is that they are becoming overloaded and will not be able to handle all of the operation demands with an influx of enrollment.  It is not so much herd mentality but rather an observation and concern on the future of ENEB on my part.   Those who have already completed their ENEB programs are safe and will likely continue to be supporters of ENEB regardless of current circumstances.

Respect the response and reading through highlights how my response on the collapse extended into coupling previous posts, and this was not my intention.

A more effective response would have been to break my post into two posts; however, to save real estate, I merged them.

Even if every FCE blacklists them, that won't make them shut down. Their main market is still 1) People who either don't know FCEs exist in the first place, or who don't need to use them, 2) Spanish speakers. I'm also guessing that, in general, the majority of people either never finish their studies or only finish after paying for an extension. I actually worked for a school in Europe that offered continuing education, which was more expensive and shorter courses than ENEB, taught less per class, and which did not get the student any credits or certificate upon completion, and that school has been around for over 30 years.

As for the delays - I just checked the campus. There were complaints of delays just like what we are experiencing now, back in 2018-2019. ENEB could always go under, but I think it's unlikely to happen in the next year. At any rate after I get my diplomas I will send them in to the Swedish academic authorities to see if they even evaluate them - the evaluation is free so I have nothing to lose.
Finished: 2 AAs, 1 BA, 2 trade schools, 3 ENEB MAs, JLPT N1.
In Progress: 1 WGU MA, 2 Mastercurssos, 3 more ENEB MAs, teacher license.

Good point.   ENEB degrees were not designed to be academic degrees.    We should be grateful that we have gotten the results from a few evaluators to use for continuing education towards a higher or lower degree.  I can understand why some NACES evaluators refuse to evaluate propio degrees, particularly the newer ones.   While many others have complained about the degree name changes,  it is actually a good thing so the general public will know that a Master of Permanent Training is a lifelong learning degree for career enhancement, not entry into a Doctorate.  This will eliminate confusion for future students.

For individuals in the EU/EHEA, you'll most likely get a favorable evaluation as the ones within the WIKI, the reason is twofold, ENEB/UC1 offers the Hague Apostille and also is part of the Bologna Process countries. Hague Apostille is used for authentication or verification of the documentation is correct or real, the Bologna Process is to recognize education through standards, like a framework for each country. We shouldn't put too much focus on transfer credits, but more on the learning and knowledge gaps to whatever educational goal or people are seeking...

I have paid for the degree sending, but haven't finished my studies yet. Happy with what I'm getting.

Importantly, I know these are real live people on the other end doing their best, and I don't know their workflows or IT processes, so that leads me to another thought: In my other schools, they usually have a graduate portal where I can login and send out transcript send requests, as well as have them sent to a centralised credential holding/sharing service, like mycreds.ca in Canada (various colleges), and gradintel.com in the UK (Robert Gordon University).

However, these colleges and universities I have attended in the past before have been MAD EXPENSIVE with huge enrolment lists and lots of public money, huge tuitions, etc., etc., basically unlimited resources and can afford to have perfect IT workflows. Simple grace of student funding I was able to afford these when I did. I wonder if there is a system in place for ENEB or if someone knows of a good workflow we can suggest to them which would simplify the world for them, I mean realistically they are human just like us, they are doing their best (in my opinion, there is a lot of behind the scenes to this stuff.) I have also worked with educational IT systems and integrating systems, and it is neither cheap nor easy, but if there's something we can come up with that is multilingual, inexpensive, and somewhat hack-proof/secure, why not? Big Grin

Let's make a proposal, that doesn't cost anything to open a dialogue!

Thank you for considering my post!

Sorry got rambling,

Does anyone know if they have a portal already setup? I haven't inquired yet, been focused on the materials.

Actually now I think about it, has anyone considered cobbling together an ImageMagick+PHP Script to generate a degree PDF from am excel sheet, CSV file, or flavour of SQL, likely postgres or mysql/maria? Then when requested, the system checks out the authoritative file and says yay or nay for it? Has ability to email it to anywhere via phpmailer script via a button click?

Could probably done within 10000 lines of code if you feel right about it. Not sure on their stack they're using but I assume some flavour of Linux or Windows server and PHP seeing as they have Moodle. Likely PDO enabled, with extended characters in $POST. Hmmm after I complete this degree this might be an idea.

Anyway any thoughts anyone wants to pitch in?

I may want to present a third one. ENEB's master's degrees are promoted virally in China's social media, which may to some degree explain why their supporting workforce is exhausted ... I hope ENEB could use some of their profits for hiring more staff.

I don´t know how it´s a "slightly" delay, to go from 7-10 business days to one calendar month (and counting).
