I tried to transfer in NCCRS credit from SDC and that didn't go so well. That was the most painful aspect.
I never believed that NCCRS was possible at Pierpont and tried to avoid it as much as possible. Later on I did do an NCCRS course from SDC also but it was for TESU (and it was only one course). The reality is I wouldn't do any NCCRS courses unless there was a big advantage to doing them.

Pierpont is listed as an NCCRS-accepting institution. But they told me that NCCRS credits have to be on an ACE transcript. If they'd have just said that they don't accept them, that's fine. No big deal.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I can't get over that. How could an institution not understand the difference between NCCRS and ACE?
I'm curious, have you ever asked Nancy Parks about it?

I did not. I never even heard back from the people who were supposed to respond about it. (Not from Pierpont nor from NCCRS.) I found out I had enough credits for graduation and just barely applied for such in time to meet the deadline. If it were more than 3 credits and/or I needed them for graduation, I probably would've pushed harder.

Just to update, I did not hear anything by December, emailed to ask about the ACE credits not showing up in ROAR. They forwarded my request to somebody in the relevant department. Nobody appeared to respond to that email for a week, so I emailed the department directly and they said they'd check with the person who processes ACE transcripts to see what's going on. In two days, all my ACE credits showed up. (And there are a LOT. Including all my shmoop literature credits that are likely gone forever with the Credly Acclaim transition. So it's cool they're documented on a college transcript somewhere.)
Last week they asked me to fill out a graduation application. I tried to suggest IT as an AOE because I felt like that might have the most job-market value, but they said I did not have enough credits. I had enough for Business or English. I chose English because I work in copywriting, PR and journalism. This morning, I checked ROAR and the unofficial transcript showed the BOG AAS was conferred - backdated to Nov. 20th. There was an email from faculty saying they'd processed my graduation request and officially conferred the degree. I guess I graduated!
TL;DR: I got a "free" English degree. Awesome.

Does anyone know what Areas of Emphasis they offer in addition to IT, Business, and English?

There is no list anywhere. It depends on what credits you bring to the table and what the program director (currently Nancy Parks) says. Information Systems is probably the cheapest/easiest concentration for most people because of the Google IT Support Professional certificate at Coursera.

I'm not sure how it's ran now, but when I attended. To get your AOE you had to take 15 credits there. (I could be wrong, I no longer have access to my e-mails but it was something to that affect)

PierPont BOG A.A.S 2018
CompTIA A+,Sec+.
SL. Intro to Environmental Science, Intro to Biology. 6 Credit hours.
Brick and Mortar college's 50 RA credits.
Pierpont institutional credit INFO 2207, INFO 2256, INFO 2305. 9 Credit hours.
Sophia. Developing Effective Teams, The Essentials of Managing Conflict. 2 Credit hours
The Institutes. 312N-H Ethics, 2 credit hours.
Brick and Mortar College. Eng 205 research writing, 3 credit hours.
CLEP. Information Systems, 3 Credit hours.
Stanford Online. America's Poverty and Inequality Course, Statement of accomplishment.

It is no longer like that. The AOE doesn't even have to be RA credits (as seems to have also been a requirement at one point). It's just 15 credits in one subject.

Just got the degree in the mail. It also comes with sealed transcripts (which I opened). Total paid to Pierpont: $0
This is the best deal out there for a real degree.
