Originally they said no, but if it comes from an RA college they said maybe. They want to see an example of what the classes look like on the transcript before they tell me yes or no.
Does anyone have a picture of thier transcript (info omitted), so I can show it to the university as an example of how Pierpont transcribes ACE? That's where I'm enrolled for classes and to send ACE.
Are they showing graded or pass fail? Both?
The college I'm asking is NMU, Northern Michigan for anyone wondering.
Thanks.
What you're describing is called 'credit laundering', and it doesn't work. School's will want the transcript from the original source, or from Credly for most ACE credits. An exception might be a 'block transfer' of an associate into a bachelor program, but these aren't very common anymore; even WGU doesn't do them for many of the degrees they used to.
You'll want to ask them if they take credits that are evaluated by 'American Council on Education' - https://www.acenet.edu Many state schools tend to only take them for military students, but you need to be clear on what you're asking because often times the person you're asking has no idea what you're talking about. Here is the page for the guide - https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pa...fault.aspx And even if they do take them, it is likely they only take some; maybe CLEP, or AP, or only from Straighterline (for example).
