4 classes (12 credits) is what you need to be considered full-time for financial aid, the TECEP pushes you to 15 credits (and more than that can push you to have extra courses fees because 15 is generally the max full-time credit load at TESU). TECEPs don't impact your GPA with is good (even if you fail), but I would recommend something that you feel confident in passing. Remember it is better to fail a TECEP than fail (or do poorly) in a course, especially since a passed TECEP is just 'extra credits' earned over your required full-time course load.
