Wasn't the person on Reddit stating they completed their MBA at WGU in 42 days and not 4 days?
I checked up on WGU, I found people who recently got their degrees done in 4 days, 14 days, 22 days, 42 days, and for Master's degrees like Education for licensure which requires both 70 hours of observation and 60 days of internship (student teaching), the fastest I saw was completion of an MA in 3 months (that person was already employed at a school so WGU didn't need to spend time looking for an internship location for them). There are still however plenty of people who are taking over 1 year to finish their degrees. Here's someone who did theirs in 4 months and they actually wrote down how long it took to finish each class, many of them were done in 1 day, the biggest holdup was they chose a capstone project that took 2 months: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-i-ear...ley-m-ed-/
When I looked, I actually found a ton of "at your own pace" RA colleges, such as Capella, but almost no info on how fast it took people to graduate, or on how many courses you can test out of. And I found some universities where you can test out of almost any course, but only once. So if you fail the test there are no retakes and you have to just take the course the normal way.
I paid $1,300 in total for 3 diplomas (roughly 90 ECTS) at ENEB including apostille, notarization, physical diplomas and the test-out method. That is 1/4th of the cost of 6 months at WGU, and 1/3rd of the cost of 12 weeks at Capella. So if the diplomas bring me even 1/4th of the luck as an RA degree in the workforce I will consider it as being worth it. The ENEB diploma already got me a small raise and a more permanent position at my workplace, while my Bachelor's degree and vocational school didn't get me anything at all. I don't think I should expect anything more from an ENEB diploma but you never know.
Finished: 2 AAs, 1 BA, 2 trade schools, 3 ENEB MAs, JLPT N1.
In Progress: 1 WGU MA, 2 Mastercurssos, 3 more ENEB MAs, teacher license.
