They seem to be generous with recognising IT certs and perhaps I can transfer a fair bit of my current UK degree credit.

I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish here?  You are going to have a Cybersecurity degree in a year.  Why spend thousands to get an IT degree unless you're actually going to stop the CyberSec degree, which it didn't sound like that was your plan?  Maybe I'm confused.

Apologies for any lack of clarity, my ongoing UK degree is going to take two years to complete (as I'm doing it part time = half speed) and regardless it won't qualify as the same as a 4 year US degree in the eyes of a H1B visa application.

My aim is to get a US degree which would qualify me for IT / Cyber roles, which I've just realised would have to be a degree in that field of study for a valid visa application.

The reason why I didn't think the field of study would matter at first is due to my IT experience and certifications, which would probably qualify me for the roles I'm looking to begin with.

Reading your reply to your thread from TwinMom - a Comp Sci at TESU may be what I'm looking for - although a bit more expensive than what I was hoping for.

I'll get my results for my final course for this year in October, and will have more IT certs by then too - that would be the ideal time for me to get a WES evaluation done I guess and see what I have that is transferrable to the various degree programs.

I suppose I could have the UMPI PM degree as a backup plan and with short term different career goals.
