Hi everyone,
I apologize in advance if some of this is basic. I am not from the US, so some of the terminology and rules are still confusing to me.
I am looking for the fastest and cheapest way to complete an Associate’s degree with a math, statistics, or quantitative focus. This is intentionally an Associate’s, not a Bachelor’s, due to time constraints.
I have tried reading older threads, but I am still confused about some things like residency requirements and how they apply when using a lot of transfer or alternative credit.
I have seen TESU ASNSM, Board of Governors AAS (which I understand may no longer be available), and UMPI, but I am not sure which of these still work, how they differ, or which make sense for someone outside the US.
I already know about Study.com, StraighterLine, Sophia, ALEKS, CLEP, etc., but I am struggling to connect those to an actual degree path.
If possible, I would really appreciate:
Plain-language explanations
Which of these options still exist and work
An approximate total cost in USD
Sorry again for the basic questions, and thanks in advance for any help.
