Your Location: Serbia
Your Age: 27
What kind of degree do you want?: Computer Science or SWE (or IT maybe?)
Current Regional Accredited Credits: /
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: /
Any certifications or military experience?: /
Budget: $5000-6000 (can bump it up if necessary but would like to keep it as cheap as possible)
Commitments: 6 hours per day - work, other than that free for most of the day
Dedicated time to study: ~5 hours per day
Timeline: would like to finish ASAP, 6 months up to a year
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: /
I work full time as a SWE with 4 years of experience, but I lack formal education due to me dropping out of my college in my 2nd year.
With current situation in the world, and job market, I feel like I need to get a degree to be more competitive, and to broaden my options when it comes to switching companies.
I originally registered here 1+ years ago, and made my study plan for TESU BA CS + CIS but never actually started with it, then forgot about it and now I'm back with more time and energy.
Main questions are:
1. Is TESU BA CS + CIS the best solution for me at the moment?
2. I found that UMPI will start offering CS degrees soon, but still no official information on when it will start, maybe I should wait for that, as it's cheaper than tesu(?)
3. In this thread (https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid439295) I found suggestion from @bjcheung77 for (UMPI BABA PM & IS > UMPI MAOL > UMPI BS CS). What do you guys think about that? It seems amazing on the first glance, as it would provide me with a masters degree as well. (but main concern is still 0 information about UMPI)
I'm pretty open to any other suggestion from more experienced members, and in advance thank you guys for taking the time to read this
