I received this followup email from the Dean of Competency-Based Education and Degree Completion (Dr. Susan Chang) on Monday morning. The document she's referring to is the "Academic & Student Affairs Committee Meeting - Agenda" shared by ashkir in the original post in this thread, which I shared with her. That doc specifies a YourPace component, so the reply is a little confusing, but at least a YourPace CS program is still being developed. But it certainly reinforces the suspicion that this is not something we'll see in the near future, but a long-term plan.

Dear [jsd],
I hope that all is well with you!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Upon review of the documents and sources, my understanding is that the Board of Trustees approved a "traditional" on-the-ground program for Computer Science. We are, however, in the process of working with our faculty to develop a Computer Science YourPace program.
Sincerely,
-Susan
