UExcels count. TECEPs kind of count. They're not super picky but you do need to have at least one graded RA credit (I.E., can't all be TECEPs).

That's the key.  Right now, the interpretation is that while they are surprisingly liberal in what they consider to be RA credit, you do need at least one letter grade RA credit.
