So I'm halfway through the online Rio Salado German course. They use Rosetta Stone software to deliver the practice exercises. You then log back into their portal Riolearn.org and you do some oral recordings on a test and multiple choice questions. The class would be pretty decent to take for someone who has little German background. As for the cost, the software license is only $58 and the rest of the material is provided online. I am under the WUE so tuition is pretty good too at $126 a credit. All of the German courses are 4 credits for a total of 16 credits.
On a side note, I also completed their nutrition lab. There are no books or lab kits to buy, just tuition for 1 credit and a $17 software. The class can be completed in one day. It's a bunch of questions based on 3 days worth of recording what you ate on an online software.
I'm not sure if Charter Oak accepts Nutrition as a science course, but if they do, and you need an accompanying lab course, this is the one!
Also the courses are self paced.
