it does not cost anything to take FEMA credits, but your time, The costs come in when evaluting the Course because schools like EC do not take raw FEMA credits.
IF you are not a TESC student you can apply for a credit Banking and send your credits there for Evalution the fee is about $300 plus, but not more than $400 and this is if you are taking many course, but if you do only one or few credit the other option is better, which I don't have much info on, but if you do a search on this Forum, will be able to get almost all the answers you need to know about FEMA.
Also depending on what degree you are enrolled in the FEMA credits from what I understand can be used for more than electives. I am enrolled in the Business Degree at EC, so I could only do 15 which went to my free electives.
