Of all of the CLEPs, this is the one I hated most. It's not hard, in fact it's really not too tough at all. But it is the very definition of tedium. There's not much you can do to study; you either know what proper English looks like or you don't. A basic primer on sentence structure and a study of the basic styles of writing is all you really can study. The test is infuriating, but very much passable. Just keep calm and work through it.
