That's happened to me and may happen again this weekend. I know it can be hard.
Did you apply for and receive an evaluation for the AA and not the AS? That would probably account for the difference in the type of remaining credits needed (Arts & Sciences vs Applied Professional/free elective).
Do you have a preference between AA and AS? (None of the degrees that we are discussing for you really move you forward to your RN.)
Okay, if you want to be done in 3 months, let's talk about the scheduling issues at EC. To sign-up for the capstone which starts the beginning of March, it says you need Info Lit as a prerequisite. They don't offer Info Lit again until the same time. You'll need to ask if you are allowed to take Info Lit during the first week of the capstone course. (I know it can be finished quickly, but I don't know if they will let you do it this way.)
Info Lit at LSU is another option. (It's unclear if Penn Foster is still an option.) It looks a little more involved with 4 trips to the library, instead of all online reading like EC. I also don't know how long it would take to complete and get the transcript sent.
Then add 2 more months between the unofficial finish of all requirements and the official degree conferral. That would make 5 months total or 7 months, if the schedule issue for Info Lit isn't resolved well. This is longer than you wanted, but would give plenty of time for the exams, too.
