Transferring my community college credits to Excelsior & Receving my preliminary revi
#7
Please double-check this in the latest Liberal Arts Catalog for me, to be sure that I am using the most recent policies.

Yes, if these CC credits are quarter-hours, then multiply by 2/3 to convert them to semester hours. If so, you would have about 30 credits (also see math note), plus 9 from ECE exams. Also, I haven't heard of ECE's being Pass/Fail; I thought they were graded. I'll just assume you earned those credits, too, pending an official evaluation.

Associate in Science at Excelsior College – 60 credits

ENGL-252-IMAGES OF MEN/WOMEN 5 CREDITS

ENGL-111-ENGLISH COMPOSITION 5 CREDITS

Information Literacy – 1 credit (options include EC course, Penn Foster (may have changed 1/1/2013??), LSU) - NEED

Capstone course – 3 credits - NEED

Arts and Sciences – 6 credits - probably done from overflow above

Arts and Sciences/Applied Professional – 29 credits - NEED to finish
CIT-101- PC APPLICATIONS 1 3 CREDITS
MULT-101 MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY 2 CREDITS
ECE Transition to the Registered Nurse Professional Role 3 credits
ECE Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Safety 3 credits

An optional Area of Focus is awarded with 15 credits in a single discipline

It looks like you mostly need free electives. We can help you choose "fast" credits (A&I Lit, Tech Writing) and exams that fit your interests out of the Student Guide to Credit by Exam. If you are planning a Bachelor's degree, this is a good place to get started on it, so you can use your credits well for both degrees.

It looks like you have a great start! I hope this helps!
