I discovered that I received the Arnold Fletcher award. The TESC catalog mentions that the award is for "excellence in non-traditional education," and goes to students who achieve 90 or more credits via non-traditional methods. I've done some research on this board and degreeinfo.com and discovered quite a few other folks who have also received this award, congrats to all.
What I haven't been able to figure out is just who Arnold Fletcher is or was. Does anyone know? My searches fail to yield any useful information. I am guessing that he is someone who either did some pioneering work in non-traditional education or was somehow associated with Thomas Edison, either the actual Mr. Edison or the campus that bears his name. Any ideas?
Congratulations to you! I found this about Arnold Fletcher.
