I got one as well. My degree was a combo of DSST, CLEP, TECEP, online classes, FEMA, credit for courses taught, and ehhh I think that's all.

Is it just me or could this kind of be seen as a backhanded compliment award? Like, hey, here's this award for graduating without actually going to college! I have mixed feelings on this one because, hey, an extra blurb for my resume. I just kinda hope employers don't look up what it means...

I don't think it's a backhanded compliment at all. Employers love to see employees who are motivated to get things done without needing someone looking over their shoulder, and the Arnold Fletcher Award is a great way to show self-motivation.

I actually would REALLY love to get this award, but I doubt I will since I'll only have 44 credits that would qualify when I graduate.
