However, he was shocked to find out that to choose the exam-only option, he will need to pay an additional $389. Is this true?
He is thinking of requesting a refund.
Yes, the default route is the written papers. Exam type is an extra payment. In june it was 99€ but more expensive now.
The additional USD 387 for the exam was a significant hidden cost for my friend. He felt conned.

If you bought the exam option back in September / October 2023 then the exam option should have become available in your online campus today. It was available for me this morning and I immediately took the exam. The 50 questions took me 44 minutes and I got a passing grade of 8.6 so I'm happy with that. But I'm tempted to do a second attempt so I can improve on that. If I was a little more careful and checked my answers more thoroughly before answering I would have done better. A lot of the answer choices are similarly worded so if you aren't paying attention you can get it wrong, even if you did know the answer.

Even though I've passed the exam today, I'm aware it will be mid-February, or even March, in 2024 before I'll get my Diplomas. I should receive both the ENEB diploma and the Isabel Masters certificate because the ENEB advert specifically said you would get both. I would be very unhappy if ENEB tried to charge me extra for the Isabel Masters certificate. But I think that only applies to people who paid for the recent super-cheap Black Friday promotional deal of 97 EURO.

Same. But it was surprising to find out that they offered 50 questions for 3 MASTERS. MBA + Big Data + Digital Marketing.

That's very, very surprising and also worrying. 50 questions for my 60 ECTS credits doesn't sound too bad. 50 questions for 90 ECTS and triple Masters seems very wrong and just doesn't seem the right way for ENEB to be doing things.

I genuinely would prefer if they were making it 100 questions for 1 Masters, 150 for 2 Masters and 200 for 3 Masters. That would at least demonstrate the student had to work hard and gain the relevant knowledge before being given their degree.

Hi, What was the time frame that you studied for the exam? apart from the modules did you use the quizzes as well to study?

I've been studying with ENEB for about 3 months. But, for purposes of full disclosure, I should say that my ENEB degree is a subject that I've been studying for several years (undergad and via courses run by my employer) and I have relevant professional experience for the last 10 years as well. So, for me, it was often very obvious what the answers would be when doing the exam. Therefore, my high marks on a first attempt shouldn't be a surprise. I did go through some of the quizzes too, for about 7 modules, and the exam questions are in a similar format so that is very good practice for the final exam.

I will say that for someone who has never studied the subject they could never pass that exam just by guessing. You do have to either go through all the modules and/or have relevant professional experience to pass the exam. It's not easy by any means.

100-200 questions for a whole degree is still not anything remotely close to enough. I've seen weekend seminars with way more challenge.

100-200 questions per course... that would be very respectable. They already have automated exam capability in their system so they could've easily done that and it wouldn't have required any grading work. The fact they didn't do it is pure laziness and an example of just how greedy they are to get to the dollar sign, smh.

That's an appropriate guess. I'm still from the first batch of exams (September-December 31st) and I passed my exam over a week ago and haven't even heard from the Diploa department yet regarding the email they usually send to confirm your data and tell you that you passed the course. Because that needs to happen BEFORE the 60 day count of you diploma issuing time starts iirc. Anyway, was also quite happy with the outcome and passed with a 9,xx.

My second attempt went even better. However, I have noticed that one of the questions they claim I got wrong, I actually got it right and it is their exam system that has it wrong. So my grade should be even higher than what the official score says. I'm not going to argue with them about it though. Anything above 9.0 is a good result in my mind.
