If someone just signs up for the health terminology 1 credit TECEP but never takes the exam, does anything happen? I don't see anything about that scenario in the TESU wiki but I've noticed on the forums people use TESU as an inexpensive credit bank

Just enrolling and 'forgetting it' will enroll you for another year. So, for example, your student status is active until the end of this month. If you register for the cheapest 1 credit TECEP, it will enroll you for another year even if you 'miss the exam'. If you still can't get all your credits to complete the degree, rinse and repeat, it will add another year each time.

Wow, this is pretty awesome, I tried to add a 6th exam for 18 credits and the system fails... No wonder there is a message of up to 5 TECEPs. I did get 6 exams in though, by adding the Medical Terminology for 1 credit as a test and it went through. I'll be removing the Medical Terminology TECEP as the 5 would be sufficient to enroll me for another year! Awesome! This is another great thing TESU is doing for their students...

Should these TECEPs count towards their 30 RA credit requirement? (not including capstone and cornerstone, of course)

Yes, you can take the 5 easiest TECEPs and it would give you 15 credits if you pass them all... You can then try the final flat rate term for 15 credits - It's a great way to get 30 RA total!

Yes, they DO count toward RA credit (assuming you pass them). They do NOT count toward residency requirement - except for students on military tuition rates.

The TESU page states the Free TECEPS are for the September 2023 term (only), although they can be taken anytime during the term (Aug 28 -Nov 19) - TECEP | Thomas Edison Credit-by-Exam Program | Degree Completion (tesu.edu)
Amberton - MSHRB
TESU - ASNSM/BSBA
