Should be noted, AACSB not being recognized by CHEA doesn't really matter. AACSB is still the gold standard for business schools.

AACSB accreditation holds its weight without the need for CHEA/USDOE recognition, you really don't need that if you're not in the US

AACSB is not an accrediting agency in the same way that you're talking about - they don't accredit schools. Instead, they accredit business programs at schools. Same with ABET accreditation for engineering degrees.
