"Graduates of AACSB colleges and universities enjoy nearly unprecedented and unmatched career opportunities."
That's a pretty big claim with zero evidence provided in that article.
I was thinking about doing a Missouri State University MBA. When did you start, and do you have any feedback on the program?

Hi LevelUP Missouri State University MBA is pretty good, It is AACSB accredited and it is very affordable MBA. I choose MSU for their low ROI, but it is traditional brick and mortar style. It is taking more time to finish the MBA. I wish, Missouri state university has competency based education similar WGU.

AACSB vs. ACBSP is no longer a huge issue from what I have seen, especially in the workforce. The only time it does make a difference is when looking for teaching positions in academia. Outside of that, if someone is not interested in academia, they should pick the program that best suits them.

This article reads like it was written long ago when AACSB was held by large research universities only, and not by so many “compass point state”, like schools we have attended — Southeast Oklahoma or Emporia State.
I know SOSU got AACSB in 2008, and Emporia did in 2003. Am I just imagining that this was a general period of expansion for their accredited schools roster?

I researched this issue before starting my MBA. One of the things I did was search job boards. When searching across the entire country, I only came across one position that specifically required AACSB accreditation. The rest just stated "business accredited". Right now on Indeed I do not see any jobs requiring AACSB accreditation specifically. Take that for what you will, but it helped me make my decision.

Just curious why not HAU ? I figured as tight as you are that $3000 would be at the top of your list.

The only other time when AACSB makes a difference: if you want to get an AACSB MBA! Then, they usually say something like "if you went to an AACSB school for your BSB, you're good - if you went to an ACBSP school, you need to jump through hoops and take 2-3 courses from us as pre-req's - and if you didn't got to either of those, we hate you." I mean, I exaggerate, but only a little bit.

Is this still happening? I haven't seen any recent examples, and it doesn't seem as prevalent as it did even 10 years ago (I'm also not doubting/denying it! seems pretty typical of the academic world, actually)

This isn't something I saw when I was looking at MBA programs.
