Regarding AACSB - Harry101 - 04-25-2022 Does anyone know why AACSB was removed from accredited agency list from CHEA in 2016? on what was the reason RE: Regarding AACSB - jsd - 04-25-2022 https://www.chea.org/sites/default/files/2019-03/AACSB.pdf Should be noted, AACSB not being recognized by CHEA doesn't really matter. AACSB is still the gold standard for business schools. So in essence AACSB was ego tripping to CHEA :I probably some inside games for power play. RE: Regarding AACSB - bjcheung77 - 04-25-2022 AACSB accreditation holds its weight without the need for CHEA/USDOE recognition, you really don't need that if you're not in the US Basically, I chose ACBSP over AACSB at the undergrad level as it's cheaper. You might want to take a look at a couple of threads 1) https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Is-AACSB-accreditation-worthless-now-that-both-DOE-and-CHEA-don-t-recognize-it 2) https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Why-pursue-a-degree-from-a-AACSB-school RE: Regarding AACSB - dfrecore - 04-25-2022 AACSB is not an accrediting agency in the same way that you're talking about - they don't accredit schools. Instead, they accredit business programs at schools. Same with ABET accreditation for engineering degrees. |
